The Grand Introduction

Some placeshave character. This one has stories.

Built in 1888 by the Earl of Plymouth — the region’s largest landowner — for his Head of Estates, this Grade II listed townhouse still keeps nearly all of its original features, including two strong rooms once used to hold the Earl’s rental collections.

Today it is a private home for groups: over 5,000 sq ft of mahogany panelling, carved fireplaces, antiques and original art, renovated with every modern comfort — and yours alone for the length of your stay.
